Privacy Policy
Last updated April 5, 2026
LoopIn (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides software that helps restaurants run SMS-based loyalty, reviews, and campaigns. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly (for example, when you create an account, contact sales, or subscribe to communications), such as name, email address, phone number, company or restaurant name, billing details, and messages you send us.
We automatically collect certain technical data when you use our Services or visit our website, such as IP address, device type, browser type, general location derived from IP, pages viewed, and timestamps. We may use cookies and similar technologies as described below.
When you use LoopIn to message your guests, we process phone numbers, message content, delivery status, and related engagement data on your behalf to operate the product and provide analytics you request.
SMS messaging
LoopIn is built around SMS and similar messaging channels. By using the Services to send messages, you represent that you have obtained appropriate consent from recipients where required by law (including marketing and promotional texts) and that your contact lists comply with applicable rules.
We process SMS traffic to deliver messages, handle replies, measure delivery and engagement, and prevent abuse. Message content may be stored for a period necessary to provide the Services, troubleshoot issues, and meet legal obligations. Carriers and aggregators involved in message delivery may process limited technical data as part of their networks.
Recipients can typically opt out of promotional messages by following instructions in the message (for example, replying STOP). You are responsible for honoring opt-out requests in line with your use of LoopIn and applicable law.
Customer and guest data
If you are a restaurant or business customer, you may upload or sync information about your guests or customers (“Customer Data”). You control what you submit. We process Customer Data only to provide the Services, support your account, improve security and reliability, and as described in this policy or required by law.
We do not sell your personal information or your guests’ phone numbers as a standalone asset. We may share information with service providers who assist us in operating the Services, subject to appropriate safeguards and contractual obligations.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies on our website and dashboards to remember preferences, keep you signed in, measure traffic and performance, and understand how visitors use our pages.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may limit functionality (for example, staying logged in). Where required, we will obtain consent for non-essential cookies in line with applicable law.
Third-party services
We rely on trusted vendors to run LoopIn. Examples include:
- Stripe — payment processing, subscriptions, and invoicing. When you pay us, Stripe collects payment method details subject to their privacy policy. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers.
- Twilio (or comparable messaging infrastructure) — SMS and messaging delivery, phone number handling, and related telephony metadata necessary to send and receive texts through LoopIn.
These providers process data according to their own terms and privacy policies. We choose vendors with strong security practices and limit data shared to what is needed for their role.
Security and retention
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type and jurisdiction.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those messages. To exercise rights related to data we hold about you as a LoopIn account holder, contact us using the information below.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Where changes are material, we will provide additional notice as appropriate (for example, by email or in-product notice).
